Great news… Our lovely founder Ali has now completed the Help to Grow: Management Course at the University of Portsmouth.

Designed with MBA-level insights, this programme offered a practical and broad overview of key business areas, to help drive growth. Reflecting on this invaluable course, Ali has highlighted her favourite aspects of this fantastic course:

“Over the past three months, I had the privilege of attending the Help to Grow Management course at the University of Portsmouth. It provided invaluable exposure to strategies and disciplines that are critical for driving business growth.  Together with a peer group of 15 inspiring business leaders, I explored topics such as:

• Strategy and Innovation
• Digital Transformation
• Winning New Markets
• Vision, Mission, and Values
• Marketing Strategy and Brand Building
• Organisational Design and Employee Engagement
• Leading Change
• Financial Management

The weekly three-hour sessions were filled with learning, dynamic discussions and thought-provoking case studies. Last week, we concluded with our fourth and final case study during an engaging in-person session at the University of Portsmouth.

One of the biggest highlights for me was the opportunity to connect with such a talented and driven peer group. The perspectives shared and the bonds we built have been a huge part of the experience, and I’m looking forward to putting what I’ve learnt into practise.

This course is a fantastic opportunity for any small or medium-sized business leader who wants to gain a deeper understanding of how to drive growth, including areas you might not typically encounter in your day-to-day role. With significant government funding, it’s truly a gift of learning.
