As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting schools across the Channel Islands, Red Lester Recruitment Director, Alison Lester, recently visited Guernsey to meet with our valued school partners and teaching professionals working on the island.
With their smaller communities and high-performing schools, Guernsey remains an attractive destination for educators seeking both professional development and lifestyle balance. We’re committed to helping talented teachers take advantage of the excellent opportunities available on the island, including competitive salaries, great benefits and supportive school environments .
Having worked with Guernsey schools for over ten years, Red Lester Recruitment is proud to have developed strong, long-standing relationships with schools across the island. These visits provide a valuable opportunity to meet with school leaders, discuss their upcoming staffing requirements, and gain first-hand insight into any developments, changes, and priorities for the new academic year.
With September recruitment already underway, this visit was perfectly timed to maintain contact with our schools to ensure we can continue to provide them with high-quality teaching professionals, specifically matching the right teachers with the right schools.
During her visit, Alison spent time catching up with school leaders and checking in with teachers currently working in Guernsey through Red Lester Recruitment. These conversations are invaluable in helping us understand both the needs of our schools and the experiences of our teachers, ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of support to all involved.
“Face-to-face visits remain an essential part of what we do,” said Alison Lester. “They allow us to strengthen existing relationships, understand the evolving needs of schools, and ensure we are placing teachers in environments where they can thrive and make a real difference.”
Thank-you to all the schools and teachers who took the time to meet with Alison during her visit. We look forward to continuing our successful collaborations in the months and years ahead.
